The two sessions closest to our district are in Cumberland and Mecklenburg Counties. The Cumberland County session will be held on Tuesday, 07 October 2008, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm in the NCGOP Victory Headquarters, located at 3800 Tinsley Rd., Suite 103, in Fayetteville. The Mecklenburg County session will be held on Wednesday, 15 October 2008, also from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm in Charlotte. The location will be announced when determined. Remember: You must be endorsed by your County Party Chairman or by a state or federal GOP candidate, and you must RSVP at least 48 hours before the session. Please contact Jillian DeCamp or Chairman David Black for more information. About Our SiteThe 8th District is comprised of all or parts of 10 counties. Links to the county web sites and more information about the District can be found on the 8th District Counties page. Links to other Republican organizations are also listed on this page. Good men and women from all over the 8th District serve leadership positions within our district party. Along with the normal roster of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer, our officers also include the Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of each county in the district as well as Members-at-Large from each county. And like all Republican Party organizations, the 8th District GOP also has a Plan of Organization that governs our activities. This Plan defines how we conduct business, elect officers, hold conventions, and all other matters of running a Party organization. If you would like to get involved with the Republican Party, meet with like-minded people, visit new cities in our state, rub shoulders with candidates and elected officials, or just request more information, then please go immediately to our Get Involved! page and let us know!
